Confusing Position

I’m rather confused as to the next steps to ‘get better.’ Right now, I play my piano, and only play songs that I learn via YouTube (y’know, those videos where the notes slide down and what not, along with those “1, 3, 1, etc.”)

My main issue is that I don’t know how to play with both hands. As in I can only play the main melody using both my hands, and not the deeper background music, or whatever it’s called. I have little to no knowledge on music theory, and all I know is from one Sebastian Lague video I watched of him creating a synth from scratch. I do, however, somewhat understand how chords work, and have been working on some very simple chord progressions.

The songs I already know how to play are (but are not limited to):

Washing Machine Heart (I know this one by heart)
From the Start (Muscle memory, my best one by far)
Tadc theme (super simple)
A buncha minecraft music (again, super simple note-by-note)
YouSeeBigGIRL (AoT)
Jax Toy
Tetris Theme
Other very simple note-by-note songs

TL;DR: I need help on how to improve plying with both hands and understanding chords better

I have no idea why anybody isn’t commenting about this, but it randomly decides to kick you out of your account, runs calculations while changing the schedule (not after it’s finalized), making the app way buggier, and it also just decides when to work and not to work. I have a hard time thinking the app doesn’t have a mind of its own. Like it’s genuinely surprising to me how such a massive company can have such a… pathetic user interface.

Just thought I’d share
