Since I need to change my phone, after a lot of research I think I’ll go with the Vivo X300, because I believe it’s the best compact phone available in my country. I also considered the Honor 600 Pro, which is already at the upper limit in terms of size for me, but USB-C 2.0 in 2026 is unacceptable, so I’ll probably skip it.

My concern about the X300 is the camera. I’ve seen some criticism about the heavy use of AI in photos — is it possible to mitigate this by disabling AI as much as possible and still get natural-looking shots, without using Pro mode?
