After severe criticism at the beginning of the season, I think this man is owed an apology. He is the type of player that Real Madrid needs. Always running up and down the pitch. When he came on against Bayern in the 1st leg, he completely changed the game. He can pass, he can score, he can dribble, he tracks back, and most importantly he plays with passion. He does the dirty work quite often, which doesn't appear on the stat sheet.
He did not have the best of starts to the season, given he was recovering from shoulder surgery and adjusting after changing his diet/exercise plan (lost weight on purpose). I feel like his first season has set the bar way too high and anything below that warrants criticism.
I can go on and on but in my opinion, Jude is the man.
