Before and after.

Still got some weird stuff going on but just finally pulled the trigger on my first lessons.

Still can’t truly break 100.

I took two years off from the dentist (won’t do that again) and my mouth is a mess.

I have two massive cavities. One is on my bottom right molar in the very back. I also have a filling on the tooth directly in front of that bottom molar that failed, and a chunk of the back of my tooth broke off.

Today, I had an appointment to get a temporary crown on my damaged tooth with the failed filling. Despite being pumped with numbing injections over and over again, having that tooth worked on directly beside my huge cavity (basically right in between the two teeth) was by far the worst pain I’ve felt in my life. It was like medieval torture in a way I can’t put into words.

Next week I have an appointment with the endodontist in the office to consult about my cavity / root canal (not sure if they will be willing/able to address it then), immediately followed by an appointment (same office) to have my permanent crown placed on the other tooth in front of it.

Is there anything I can do to beg for mercy? Assuming they don’t address my root canal that day, do I beg the endodontist to inject me with some kind of magical number that only endodontists have access to?

My cavity is still screaming and I’m terrified to do this again.
