New Kindle Scribe Colorsoft

Amazon has unveiled the new Kindle Scribe. Form their website: “Our most advanced Kindle Scribe ever, redesigned to be thinner, lighter, and faster with a large 11” paper-like display. Also available with a Colorsoft display, for consistent, easy-on-the-eyes colour that writes like real ink.”

What do you think about it?

I want to buy a Kindle (just waiting for the Amazon Prime Deals in June/July), but I’m not sure which one to get (not a new question here).
I love the Matcha one - the color, the size, the weight, the price - but I’m wondering if the light will be annoying when reading at bedtime.

For context, I use the Kindle app on my phone and iPad and I use the Sepia theme all the time. I find it easier on my eyes especially at night (I find dark mode harder in my eyes actually). But I would get the Paperwhite only for this feature and I’m not sure what to do.

Looking at both devices in a store, the light on the basic one didn’t look bad at all if it wasn’t used on maximum (which I guess you don’t quite need to use on maximum), but the store was very well lit so I’m wondering if reading in bed with dim light will feel different.

How is it for you, reading on the Basic at night and do you find warm light on Paperwhite useful?
Thank you.
