What’s a fair offer for this used collection for my store?

I know the one in the case is Pre Viszla, having a hard time identifying the others.

assuming they’re authentic abs in good-used condition, what’s a fair price?

Sellers: what’s your current pricing strategy?

Ive been fiddling with my pricing settings recently due to a few factors like the USPS rate increase, adjusting my minimum order to weed out the tiny orders that lose me money based on my time investment, and looking at altering from the 6 month sales average for parts pricing.

Where have you landed recently with your own pricing strategy?

I’m new here, how are yall managing day to day?

34M, I’ve had all the classic weird signs like wildly flexible joints, stretchy skin, overheating, among many others.

Didn’t know there was a symptom for what Ive always had. Never met someone else with it.

Generally it’s been fine but the last 2 years it’s been getting worse. I now get achy hands, arthritis in hip and shoulder, lower back pain, neck pain, among others.

Trying to play with my toddler the last couple days has made me realize I’m not okay.

How does everyone else manage the symptoms day to day?

screw PCOS.

my has had multiple cysts rupture in the past, each being extremely painful. A couple times the ER. Today, though was the worst of all where she couldn’t walk, is throwing up, and extreme pain. She’s probably the person with the highest pain threshold in my life, didn’t during childbirth, but this is awful. I don’t know what is going to come of this ER visit, but the whole thing is terrifying. If anyone has any input of routes that helped with PCOS, please share your input. We’re see some after we get through this event because this is just terrifying.

So my store has been open near 3 months now. Ive really enjoyed growing it but want to continue to scale. A couple things I’m debating right now and I can’t find good insights when searching here so I’d appreciate some feedback.

  1. Do you sell new or used more often and why?

  2. I’ve been spending my time sourcing used-licensed minifigs lately but am wondering if it’s wiser to also grow the entire catalog and prioritize bringing in more parts inventory as well. Which would be the better long term play?

I've been searching for a BrickLink focused Discord server but the invite links from the old posts are invalid. Anyone aware of active servers or have they all dried up?

So I shipped an order then sent a customized drive thru message then noticed feedback was auto posted to the buyer but I’m struggling to find where the setting for that to occur even is or where that message can at least be customized.

I’ve altered the message templates I use but can’t find where this stupid auto feedback even applies as I like to write my own for each buyer.

I had a very weird experience when I was probly 7 years old.

Was riding in a car, backseat looking out the window to the North, and I still can picture it clearly. I saw a massive-orange orb sitting over a building that is about 100 yards from the road and based on its position I’d place it at only a few hundred yards up in the sky.

I live near this spot now so I’ve revisited it as an adult to figure out distance and size estimates.

The land it was over + the surrounding area were once LOADED with ancient burial mounds from the Anishinaabe people who have been estimated to have inhabited this land for 11,000 years. The area along the river we were near was one of their highly spiritual sights. Unknown if that’s connected to the orb sighting but was the only notable thing about the area I could dig up.

Ever since that day, I occasionally have a feeling that I’m not alone. Like there’s a non-visible presence with me.

You know how you sometimes get a feeling you’re being watched by someone or animal? It feels like that but almost with an internal buzzing sensation in my head.

This would’ve been 1999 so unfortunately no photos.

I don’t know what to make of it and like many other experiencers, I don’t know why to make of the whole thing. Was certainly beautiful though. Like getting to see the sun up close.

When there’s a lot going on around me — general overstimulation — I get highly irritable. Generally angry at times.

Does anyone else struggle with this? Anyone have tips on calming down when in these situations and you can’t get away?

I genuinely feel alone that I’m like this. I’ve been working hard on it but struggle a lot.

4 years ago my wife gave birth to our amazing son.

Pregnancy and post birth both were very healthy. After about a year, my son contracted hand foot and mouth. Something that’s not fun for kids but rarely transmits to adults. My wife however has always had a weakened immune system. Had a horrible immune system collapse as a child to the point her legs were almost amputated.

So with her weakened system she contracted hand foot and mouth and the pain she went through was awful. After those systems died down, POTS quickly appeared.

The first year was brutal until she found a medication that keeps her stable for the most part. She still has to avoid anything extraneous or face getting light headed. Still gets extreme hot flashes and heart flutters at times But is doing much better with monitoring closely with her doctors.

The last year saw a massive improvement as she has largely shifted to protein and natural fats being her calorie sources.

I’ve only worked with used inventory so far but am intrigued by new pieces for a few reasons.

Some questions though for anyone willing to share.

With new, what’s your criteria of what/when to buy?

Is there a certain price off threshold you’re looking for sets to reach?

Are you buying anything once it reaches a certain price point or only certain genres? Like Star Wars and recently Ninjago being big sellers, are you purposefully buying mainly those sets or a variety?

Do you prefer to part out the entire set or do you sell them whole (unopened) and why?

Appreciate any input.

so we have a 4 year old who’s a hyper guy and very social. only wants to do pretend play. I can’t get him to just build Legos with me or anything. it needs to be extremely interactive pretending.

i literally just won’t do that and I can’t properly explain why to my wife who has no problem doing-so as the social one with ADHD. I try to occasionally force myself through it but my kid definitely knows daddy is being weird and isnt into this.

how can my autistic-ass explain to my child why i struggle with pretend play? I don’t want him to think I don’t like playing with him. how should I try explaining it better to my wife?
