Evaluation of assymetrical donut edema 4.5-5.5 days post-op (ZSR stapler)
How do you think I am doing? Shall I be concerned about the slightly open wound (see Img. 1 and 2; there's no blood, fwiw). I think my nocturnal erections are the culprit which felt like stretching the skin from the base of the penis!
Also, I see TWO concentric inflamed ring-like structures in the photo (best visible at Img. 3)—the one distant from the glans penis (i.e. towards base of the penis) is QUITE inflammed but only on one side (about a third of the diameter). Which one of the two is the silicone ring that will fall off soon per doctor? Is the other one, just an inflammation which will resolve soon?
