Please translate text and seals on this scroll showing go players.

If I am correct the text has 棋... 為勝 ki(go) ... to win.

The seal says 香苔 Kokei/Kaori for a person(?) and "Fragrant Moss" for a plant(?).

Would it be a pun, considering the plant in the background?

What is on and in the box?

It's quite much text, but I put it all in one image, because I guess much comes down to the same content. An unreadable character might be readable else where.
