Basically, I've been friends with this person for about a decade, and this started a while after the summer of 2025. Before that, whenever one of us messaged the other, the other would respond. However, after the summer, things changed. I would sometimes message her and she would leave me on delivered for days. Now, she does have a good reason, however days of silence became weeks, although when we did talk it was usually not long anyway.

On Feb 25, we hung out in real life, and I have not heard from her since. I tried calling her, but every time it would say the line busy. When I searched what it meant, I figured it was either being blocked or her phone was put on do not disturb. I'm pretty sure she's not grounded since her Instagram story does change, and I have yet to call on another phone to check the first one.

I just need to know if what's happening is something normal, or if all friendships go through this, or if it's something else entirely. Because when we did talk or message each other, she didn't seem any different, even when we hung out in real life. So I also don't know if I did something wrong, directly or indirectly. I just want answers since I genuinely don't know what to do.

Also our friendship is purely platonic.
