So had my lower wisdom teeth out a month ago & I massively sympathise for those who went through the same thing I did. Suffered dry sockets in both & waited FAR too long (12 days) before seeing the dentist to get them cleaned out, Alveogyl stuffed in the holes, metronidazole & amoxicillin prescribed with the big 30mg cocodomol.

I’d probably advise if things aren’t improving around the with day, I’d probably check why?!

After 3 weeks I was off the medication & painkillers and somewhat back to normal. Now just the snag of having huge gaps for food to collect in, but have an irrigator and a long reach toothbrush!
