Hi all, I’m new to gardening and would like some advise please.

Moved into house at the end of last year and just got a lawn mower two weeks ago. I gave the garden a mow and it seems I have potentially cut it too short (see pic)

I was recommended getting some miracle grow to help remove the moss and get the grass healthier.

Do you agree that it’s needed?
