How is dating from a woman’s perspective?

I (24M) am single, and have heard wild stories across the internet from women talking about their dating experiences. I’m curious to know what the biggest challenges are that you are all facing regarding men that you are matching with/meeting? I would also like to know about your successes and what qualities and traits you look for. I am in my mid 20s, but feel free to share your thoughts if you are from a different age bracket!

In your opinion, why are normal life skills becoming difficult for adults?

This was a bit difficult to word, but I’ve noticed that simple things like making friends, talking to others, introducing people to others, and dating have become skills that adults are struggling with. Here’s some things that I’ve seen online:

Posts explaining how to make friends, with college students and fresh grads as the audience

AI that helps you practice your conversational skills

People complaining that they are completely alone with no friends

People explaining a step by step process on how to talk to women (targeting men)

I’m curious to hear from those of you who grew up before the internet and social media took over the young generations. I (24M) have felt the effects of these problems, and I’m curious to hear your opinions and experiences
