Been wanting hood pins for a while, finally got em and installed. I can't belive the screws were real. 🤣🧐

Added brass hex and wheel adaptors to the trx4 and the offset changed 2mm, so just wanted to do a flex check and make sure i didn't pick up and tire/body contact. Everything seems good to go! My favorite thing about this rig is the articulation, so I had to take some pictures of the new stance🤣👍
Finally added the last bit of weight to the wheel setup. Ordered 3 different adapters as the center hole in the meus wheels is 12mm and they sell the adapters in 2 different sizes. The 12.2mm are too big and don't fit the wheels. Each wheel and tire are coming in at 291g so that's pretty good. Between these and the front battery change, I'm interested to see how thing this does with these changes👍
Took the k5 out with the new soft inserts, and im really happy with them. No more completely flat tire in the rear on step inclines 🤣👍👍
Went from super soft to just soft in the rear. Im happy with the results, no more complete flat tire when the weight is moving to the rear on inclines 👍 started raining again but I got this quick video first🤣
Took him out for a little while before it started raining again, I'll try again tomorrow to get some close up squish👍
With the k5 now over 15 lbs, the super soft inserts in the rear were REALLY getting overworked. I decided to change out the rears for soft inserts. I'm keeping the super soft in the front for now, as the weight transfer onto the rear is the only time I really saw it get over worked. It's be raining for 3 days so I haven't been able to get it outside in the real world yet...but from the little testing I've done, It's DEFINITELY a huge difference. The last picture is the rear with the super softs... the rim was basically on the tread... no more of that!!
Man, painting small details is a little tricky! I think he came out pretty good though👍 now time to work on taking the interior back out to get the steering wheel moving!🤣
I didn't want to look at silver stickers any more, so I ordered some .2mm mirror stock and trimmed some pieces. Not a huge deal, but it was necessary 🤷♂️👍 also,I ordered a smaller fire extinguisher, the listing for this one was way off on the dimensions 🙄
Anyone who's running brushless outrunner, how do you have your steering servo wire routed? I already had to repair servo wiring already because I didn't route it properly in the beginning. Fixed and routed it after and it's been staying out of the way since. Just wanted to see how y'all are routing the steering servo wiring weigh your brushless conversions. Both my build so far, I've secured the servo wire to the brushless motor wiring and routed it around the transmission to the rx.
Been wanting these for a while, don't knew what took so long🤷♂️ installing a new 10$ part means clean the whole front end, obviously 🤣
Pine needles and rocks are an annoying mix. But she wasn't gonna quit... in the end... success🤣👍👍
Spent all day out with the trx4, Frankie was feeling left out. Putting it through the indoor course🤣🤷♂️
