Took 2 years of constant searching and many rejected offers but I’m so glad that it happened this way because I love this house. The view in second pic is the view from every room 🥲. I remember when i got kicked out at 18 and had no where to go then eventually renting rooms with so many different roommates and just struggling to eat….
Hey Ya’ll,
I bought my first house last week and have been spending a few days assessing the property and figuring out what projects need to be tackled. The previous owner has lived in the house for many years and installed maple hardwood floors. I’ve noticed that certain parts of the flooring aged better than other parts. I dont know much about flooring and thought I’d run it by the Reddit experts.
In the pic, it’s hard to tell but you can see the difference between the left and right side. The left side seems newer more polished, more color, with a clear coat? What can be done about the right side and how can I get the two sides to match? Thanks in advance.
