I have a type D visa single entry, and I already entered Romania. I also applied for residence permit and they informed me that it’s ready, but it hasn’t been delivered yet.
I have a trip to Italy and Spain tomorrow, can I go? Is my visa valid to enter Romania again? And if it is not, can they see that I have the residence on the system? Or do I need to have it psychically?

I have a long stay visa (National visa) which is type D/SD from Romania. It is single entry and I already entered Romania.
I have a trip tomorrow to Italy and Spain, when I asked at the immigration office they said it was okay to travel and come back within the visa days, however when I caller my consulate and the border police they said I cannot.
Does anyone have any information? I already applied for a residence permit and it’s there, I just can’t pick it up because of labour day.
Can I travel or will I be stopped on the way back? And if I am stopped, can they see that I have residence if I don’t have the card psychically?
