Is it better to take a harder course earlier. If I take PHYL 2514 and have a 2.0 gpa but then other courses next year, I will have a 3.5-4.0 gpa. How much will gpa get affected?

Hey, I’m just wondering how GPA is affected for each course. For example if I take PHYL 2514 and PHYL 2520. I score a 4.0 GPA for PHYL 2520 but a 2.0 GPA for PHYL 2514 and my other classes are 3.7-4.0. Will the PHYL 2514 class make it weigh down a lot? Or just by 0.1 or 0.2?
