My fall GPA was 3.1 and I applied to the BBA program, fast forward now I got the notification that my application is under future review, so what does that mean exactly?
I finished my winter semester with a 3.8, making my over all average 3.5, so like are they gonna check that or?
what happens if i a not yet within the comptetive average and under future review??

I’m graduating from Mount Royal University this June 🎓, but I have a bit of a concern. I currently have some outstanding parking tickets, and I’ve heard from other students that unpaid parking tickets might prevent you from graduating.
Can anyone confirm if this is true or not? Or share any experiences / info about this?
I’d really appreciate any insight, just trying to make sure everything is sorted before convocation 😅

I applied as a transfer student for the BBA program back in November. My competitive GPA was 2.9, and I know that is low so I am not too hopeful either. Just wondering if anyone has heard back with a decision, and what are my chances with that GPA?

I’m currently upgrading math during the spring semester and i got the email saying the term tests are in person??? like i thought the whole point of an online course is that it’s online… so stupid. Why are the term tests in person ugh!
I thought final grades would be available on d2l on the 29th as per the calendar of critical dates. But I still don’t have a couple marks back for a gned I’m taking, no final exam which was written on the 20th and a couple assignments that were completed in early April. No communications from prof either stating there would be a delay.
Anyone else still haven't received their final grade ?

has anybody taken a class (specifically gned 1301) with Pheasant-Neganigwane, Karen? i see her rate my prof reviews are horrific and im so worried 😭 but she’s the only prof avail for me because i have to complete this gned this sem. pls lmk the experiences you’ve had w her 🥲 is it as bad as it seems? im so worried it’ll tank my gpa if she’s that impossible of a marker 😭

Soo as the title says im deciding which prof i should take for this class in the spring… laura’s class makes my schedule more manageable however she has some mixed reviews and ive heard great things about rasha. Idk who to choose so any insight on either of them would be helpful!
In the email we received a few minutes ago, it was noted how AI will be integrated in our education via responsible frameworks and resource sites; however, I do not give a FUHHH. I LOATHE AI—-I don’t want to be associated whatsoever.
I was wondering if there is any way to opt-out of this? I do not want my own education to be at stake over some—-personally useless—-machines, ya dig?! I don’t wanna get blamed for using AI, and get expelled or sum bs; meanwhile, being a firm chat gbt hater. I want to do nursing, but I didn’t apply because I didn’t think my average was competitive enough at the time. I’ve since been accepted into open studies, and I’m wondering if starting there and then transferring into nursing would be a more realistic or accessible pathway or if this could improve my chances of getting into the program?
i didn’t manage to get a C- on math 1203 aka linear algebra and it’s a prerequisite so i’m wondering if it’s doable to do in spring along with taking gned 1101 and 1401.
