Dual Credit Questions

I’m about to finish junior year of hs right now and I’ve heard a lot of people saying that dual credit doesn’t often get credit for college. My school operates on a 6.0 scales where on level classes get 5.0, advanced/dual credit get 5.5, and AP classes get 6.0. I’m going to take Dual credit multivariable calc and linear algebra my senior year and I’ve had some confusion about it. For some reason even though it’s only offered as dual credit, it holds the same weight as an AP level class at my school. Does this mean the credit will transfer to many colleges since AP classes credits transfer? And if they don’t transfer, will they still be part of my college gpa? And if I do bad on this during my senior year, will future employers see that I struggled with these classes during my senior year and take this in a negative light? Will this also affect my college applications heavily? Sorry if I didn’t explain anything well, just was curious and needed some answers.
