You seriously need to un-fuck the booyah bomb. Seriously. It's the only special in the game that requires participation from the rest of your team to be able to use effectively. That, or stacking 1900 points of SPU just so you can reasonably charge it yourself. No other special in the game has such a dependency and it isn't like booyah bomb is a particularly powerful special in its own right, anyway.
I should be able to charge my own special as fast as I can mash that damn down button myself. Who cares if people were using a turbo to do it? Give it a cool-down period like missiles or rain, but don't deliberately handicap a player's ability to use their special on some dumbass mechanic. You cannot reliably get help from teammates in solo-q, and honestly, they shouldn't have to. Not when they're in the middle of 1v1's, not with the shit netcode, lag, and pace of this game.
Love the game. Love the hydra. But if you're gonna give specials in the game, we should be able to use them reliably, timely, and individually.

I’ve been on reddit long enough to have known better. In the interest of time:
- I main hydra
- There are many other weapons besides gold aero that have booyah as a special.
- I’m not talking about panic usage. I’m talking about well timed, strategic use in a fast pace game. There’s a difference.
- I’m not saying to change the overall fastest possible time to charge.
I am saying, let me, myself, charge it as fast as it charges when all 3 teammates help. I never said anything about instant charging.
