This disappointed me the most

I am quite disappointed with older ladies during my pregnancy. I understand old men or men in general being dismissive and stupidly ignorant (I don’t like it but I get it) but when an older woman tries to devalue your experience, it really pisses me off.

I mean statistically they’ve probably seen people die during birth or pregnancy and dealt with multiple miscarriages for whatever reasons. Yet they still act like you’re a lazy and spoiled person. One woman literally said this to me because my husband was tying my shoes.
