I've gone no contact for over a year or so and still give a lot of time wondering to some extraordinary patterns among narcissists. One of them being their openness to do therapy.
In more than one occasion I've tried to persuade Nmother to do therapy for numerous reasons.
When we were on a more positive note on our relationship, she seemed to be inclined to do it. Whilst, when we where leaning towards going no contact she dismissed the situation altogether, saying she never really believed in it - like we were talking about astrology or some shady science.
I'm interested in what's going on in the background.
I know for sure one of the reason is the fact narcissists are absolutely incapable of looking inwards. But I'm curious to understand why this is the case?
