Just like the title says, I've found quite a few problems on Android TV with the new update resulting in a bad experience. I've never had any problem before this update on Android TV and I haven't changed anything in my setup (settings on tv, app or router). I'm going to write every bug/problem here. First of all, I already had my ps5 registered and after the update I tried to connect to it but I was always facing two scenarios: the typical loading screen before connection with "please wait" appeared and suddenly it stopped taking me back to the app home screen with no error or message. Second scenario is that when trying to connect to the ps5 the error message with "another user is using remote play" popped but it wasn't true. These two errors kept alternating randomly. So I decided to try to delete the registered console and register it again (I was not at home so I had to do it remotely) which brings me to the other problem I've found. The new "remote register" setting doesn't work at all. It doesn't even show an error message for me. It just makes me do the login and after that, it just shows the loading symbol for a bit and then takes me back to the app home screen with no new console registered. Tried a few times even by clicking the "Problems?" button on the right upper corner and following the alternative method with the link that I have to paste after the login but it always just loads for a bit and then home screen with no error message or registered console. Another serious problem I've faced is that (at least on Android TV for me) the setting that lets you directly start the connection to the console as soon as you open the app is completely broken. I've enabled it resulting in a loop where once I opened the app it was continuously trying to connect to the console (99% of the times failing and giving me a different error message every time) but without the possibility to reach the settings in any way to disable it. It randomly managed to connect just one time and even when I quitted the stream, it kept continuously trying to connect to the console. But generally speaking, once I enabled this setting, the app became unusable and I had to reinstall and activate it at least 3 times while doing testing. The last problem is that in some cases the navigation between the various fields/boxes was impossible (for example after writing the email in its field/box in the app activation screen, it was impossibile to switch to the license key box at least with the directional keys on the tv remote control which I've always used to navigate the app). I was forced to use my Bluetooth keyboard on the tv to be able to click on the other field/box and start typing. Obviously I've already tried the most obvious things like clearing app cache or reinstall it but nothing worked. I've spent a lot of time testing and writing down all these problems (which I only faced on my Android tv and not on my Android phone) just like I've spent time to be as detailed as possible writing this post to let the developer know this. So please I hope you will read it, answer and possibly fix these problems which I think are not on my end. The only time I managed to connect to my ps5 the experience was just awesome and that's why I'm disappointed with these problems. Thank you for your hard work and hoping to hear from you soon.
