How does everyone handle outings?

My LO is 8 wks old, we still feed every 2-3 hours during the day, but after 6pm starts cluster feeding every hour or so.

Up til now, Ive planned all our outings to take place earlier in the day and right after his feed - getting home just in time for the next feed.

My husband hasn't said anything about it yet, but I can tell he's getting annoyed - as he's extremely social and its limited us being out of the house a lot.

How do you handle outings? What are your suggestions for making things as easy as possible?

The first 2 pictures are the Graco Turn2Me car set in my Mazda- the second 2 pictures are a generic car seat my MIL got us, in my husbands truck.

Context my little guy is 7 wks old and just hit over 7lbs.

We mainly take him in my car (Graco Turn2Me), I finally put a towel in the crease of the seat because my seats in line and it was causing the carseat to slope. Even with the towels his chin drops to his chest.

Yesterday we decided to take my husband's truck and try the other car seat. It wasn't as significant but his head was still dropping forward.

Help! Suggestions!

We did take mine to the firestation to have them help install it - not only were they confused on the Turn2Me but said we can't put a towel (even though the manual says to)
