New PiratePet Parent

Our 11 month old Boston Terrier was swatted by a cat on Saturday. 3 vet visits from Saturday to Tuesday and his eye ended up rupturing 15 min after leaving his last vet appt. He had his eye removed yesterday and we get to bring him home today.

Help me prepare on what to expect? I am so devastated and have shed many tears. He’s my boy and I’m so in love with him and feel like I failed him. I’m so worried he’s going to be unhappy now and not live life like he was. He has the sweetest silliest personality loves all people and dogs and I really don’t want him to change.

Help this worried momma out.

Rough weekend/week

Our boy Quincy got scratched by a cat on Saturday in the eye. Vets on Saturday…he got to the eye on Sunday and irritated it. Vets on Monday , ripped is cone off in the middle of the night cause he was in pain and rubbed his eye a lot. Vets today for another check…drive the 15 min to home bring him in and put him on the floor and his eye ruptured. He is at the emergency hospital and will have his eye removed tomorrow.

I am devastated he is only 11 months old. I feel like I failed him and I hope his personality stays in tact and he

bounces back to his sweet funny lovable self.
