okay am i overthinking this or was this lowkey weird

so there’s this guy in my class where we basically have this whole awkward eye contact situation going on for weeks but we barely talk. today we were at the sports field and i was sitting with my friends while he was nearby kneeling down grabbing something. then suddenly his best friend pushed him towards me while laughing and he immediately started going like “no no ” and acting all awkward about it

like i know boys joke around with each other all the time but WHY would his friend randomly do that specifically towards me

I just promised something. I promised to life, if his friend is ever absent, like whatever day, I'm gonna stand up, I'm gonna approach my crush and say, hi, do you know this girl from the other school? Because I know a little connection or like some talk or some sort, not school-related because he sucks at school, but like somewhere sort of more social, that's what boys like, interaction, connection. But I just need his friend to be absent that day when he's absent, that it's gonna be my day when I'm gonna approach him and ask him. And then, um, if we talk, maybe I can send him the full request, yeah?

(i'm saying this, because his best friend is always with him, and it got difficult to just approach him)
