An hour further away for more pay
I currently make $18 an hour part time. Alot of places are paying $20 or more an hour away with more hours (full time) do you think it would be worth it to make the commute?
Does anyone else do this? My daughters bday was on the 30th and every parent I had there gives there kids money for chores, walking to school & from school and Good grades. I tried being part of the conversation and asking them why. I was told so they treat school like a job and are more responsible. It prepares them for the world when there older. Time is money. Does anyone else pay there kids for multiple things?
Edit to add: my kids were running around when parents were having these conversations and now they want paid for doing these things because now they think it's not normal to do them for free. There refusing to clean, walk to school and even acting out at school. My oldest even got suspended today for the next 3 days. They think now there being treated unfair and like a "slave" & are refusing to continue to do these things for free. Saying they would rather go live elsewhere.
