Do I need to get any sort of rights in order to feature songs and their data in my game?
I am designing a game where you play as a cover band, where the goal is create setlists that synergize well to score points. I plan on using real songs on cards that feature data such as title, original artist, genre, length, etc. Would I need to get any kind of rights or permission from who owns the songs in order to do this? Obviously the music itself wouldn’t be featured, just the info about the songs
