Do you need an Honours/Specialization Degree to do a MA in Public Policy?

I’m an undergrad who’s majoring in Philosophy and Minoring in another subject. My goal is law school but I’m equally passionate about doing a masters in public policy.

In order to be eligible for the program, do I need to do a Specialization in only philosophy or can I major and minor?

For reference, I’m Canadian!!!

Can you do a Minor at another University?

I accepted my offer to Queen’s University and it’s definitely where I want to be for my major, but I don’t know if I’m particularly fond of minors offered beyond my current subject.

I’m from Toronto and was hoping to maybe minor in a subject only offered at TMU. Is this actually possible or am I being overzealous?

I’d really love an answer to this!!

Can you go to Grad School Without an Honours Degree??

I want major in one subject and minor in another. But, I heard from some people you are unable to go to grad or law school without an Honours Bachelor’s Degree.

Is this true? I assumed that since it’s all the same 4 year degree it wouldn’t be a problem. But apparently not!

Please let me know!
