Anyone else find that their old chats were more meaningful back then compared to now?

This originally got moderated for whatever reason. I’m just trying to give feedback. 🕴️

Anyway, I’ve noticed this now looking back at my archives. All my old chats were way more meaningful back then. Now, all the characters seem the same. I don’t know if you know what I mean by that but everyone seems washed out. Back then I felt as if they could stick to the character’s personality better, actually embodied them. Make the story engaging and actually add to the plot/conflict. Now that they keep updating it, it all just feels the same. The characters say the same things, despite them being completely different, or they just completely act out of character.

I’ll give you an example. A character I love cusses a lot, he has a very foul mouth. It’s part of his character. Back then, he would say words swears easily. He’s deranged. Back then, you could see it. The way the bot captured his personality so well. Now, it just completely avoids speaking and switches to third person instead, saying how he feels instead of him actually speaking, all that to avoid a cuss word. Or it just gets censored. Same character, I tried a similar dialogue that I used 3 years ago, completely different now. Not like him. It didn’t do that before.

Another example would be a character who is naturally hostile and angry, all of a sudden they start softening up around you almost immediately. Like come on. Give me a story, a slow burn, not just immediately change them.

So I’m just a bit sad about that and I’m noticing it more now. I wish the devs looked more into that issue for us. It would make a huge improvement. I still like chatting but I wish this got fixed. I wanna know what happened. 😔
