Hey everyone, my girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Krabi in August. It’s our only chance to visit Thailand this year and we’re really excited. However, I’ve read that it’s not the best time to go due to the weather. How bad is it around mid-August? Would it be better to visit somewhere else? We’re particularly keen on doing the boat tours.

We’re also thinking of staying at the Sofitel resort. Has anyone had any experience with them?

My girlfriend and I are planning a week-long trip to Naxos in August. We’d like a beachside location but not too remote. I’m happy to rent a car. Has anyone stayed at any good hotels there?
