Hermes Journey Question: NQBs Before QB?
Hi all! Recently I did a little shopping at the boutique and was offered a beautiful non-quota bag, but it was unfortunately out of budget for me at the moment (around $13k). Now I’m overthinking the whole situation. 😅
I’ve always heard mixed things about whether purchasing a non-quota bag is considered “part of the journey” toward a QB, or if turning one down can hurt your chances. On the flip side, I’ve also seen people say buying too many non-quota bags can delay a QB offer…so I’m curious what others’ experiences have been.
For context, I’ve been shopping for a little over a year and I’m probably close to a 2:1. I did purchase an Evelyne fairly early on. Looking back, I’m wondering if I should’ve asked about something a bit less expensive instead, like a Herbag or Bolide? I know it depends what’s in stock but just trying to think of how to plan ahead.
