I think there’s a massive double standard in how internet blackouts are covered internationally. If the US or Israel disrupted Iran’s internet infrastructure, it would dominate headlines for weeks and be framed as collective punishment or censorship. But when the Iranian regime itself restricts internet access to suppress protests and control information, coverage is much quieter and far less sustained. That inconsistency is hard to ignore.
