I have recently bought a brand new 8.5 GTI (which I'm loving) but I've noticed some behaviour that I'm a little concerned about from the speakers from the stock audio system.

The audio seems to be lackluster and from about 60% onwards the volume doesn't really seem to increase any higher. The volume in general just seems really low, lower than my old 2012 golf by a significant margin. At high volumes the bass and vocals seem to interfere with each other: with bass being heavily limited when vocals are present. I've tested the EQ in many configurations including default and it doesn't fix it.

I've tested this with Carplay and direct bluetooth connection. Does anyone have any ideas about this or experienced similar?
