Mitsubishi tech support - are they always this terrible to the end user?
I have a 1 ton Mitsubishi cassette unit that I installed but had a tech come charge it and startup. Decided to splurge for this unit because they are the best right? It’s been running great since Monday until I decided to play with the wireless controller and caused an issue where I can’t get the unit to turn on. The receiver just beeps and the unit doesn’t respond. I tried to call tech support 3 times now and they are they are useless.
1st call had me do a basic turn it off then back on. Didn’t work so they said call higher level support. 2nd call was the most incompetent customer support person I have ever spoken to. Ended the call with her telling me my unit doesn’t support any sort of controller and she would call back (never did). 3rd call had a guy tell me it was illegal to do this myself without a license.
Is this what I paid the premium price for? Equipment I can’t get support for without dishing out money every time?
