In a recent cruise, I found out I can't enter a gear sometimes even with the clutch pedal pressed completely. I had to do rev match downshift and sometimes I can't even up shift. I still managed to get home and parked. But in the end I found out the car wants to move even I'm in 1st/R gear with the clutch fully pressed. Engine would stall if I brake hard. Moreover I can't even change gear without switching off the engine during parking.
Talked too the mechanic, he said it's likely just the clutch being broken but since gearbox would be taken out too, clutch pump is recommended for replacement too.
Now I'm thinking, any clutch would u guys recommend for some sporty driving? I saw exedy is good somewhere, any other options?
My friends also suggested me to install an LSD since gearbox is out anyway. Is LSD effective on a GE8? Any recommended options?
