I am about 10% into The Likeness by Tana French and I am finding it very slow and boring so far. It's dragging on and on with the main character waffling about whether or not she is going to do this undercover assignment. The whole thing so far is just her drinking wine and for whatever reason, playing coy with her ex-boss and being overly cranky which feels shallow and trite. Does this get better? Does the plot move forward at a faster pace eventually?
