i got eevee in january 2024, as a christmas present. she was my first small animal, and first personal pet in general, that wasn’t just a family pet. she just passed on monday, may 4th. i owned her for over 2 years, meaning she was 2.5+ years old. she passed peacefully in her burrow due to what i assume was old age. i couldn’t have asked for a better hamster, and im so happy that i picked her out the day i went to get my first hamster. she’s led me to own multiple other rodents, including a hamster and 10+ rats. i can’t wait to get more hamsters eventually, and provide them with proper care in honor of her 🫶🫶
