just a quick rant about beauty supply stores. i'm in boston and i only live near one hair store that sells products for black hair + braiding hair. "near" is being generous because it takes about 45 mins and 2 connections on public transit to get there. anyway, it's really my only option so i have to go there anytime i need anything hair related. i just spent ~$60 in that place!!!! almost $9 for every single hair product i needed. the braiding hair was $6 and i needed two packs. ish like this reminds me why i used to keep my hair in a low fade 🙃
