Hi everyone, I’m a bit confused about my cycle and would really appreciate some input.
I’m 26, with usually very regular 28-day cycles. For the past ~2 years, I’ve been having mid-cycle spotting around ovulation (usually day 10–14). It’s happened about 10 out of 12 cycles each year. Typically it’s light, lasts a couple of days, and then turns brown and stops. Sometimes its red blood mixed in some mucus.
This month was different though:
Around day 13, I had heavier bleeding than usual (not enough to soak a pad fully, but more than spotting)
It then turned brown and stopped by day 15–16
Other context:
No pain, no dizziness
Regardless of sexual activity
Had a normal uterine ultrasound 2 years ago
Once had a CA-125 slightly elevated around ovulation but it normalized 5 days later when I was sent for retest
Wanted to ask if other people also face this? Every month it comes back and brings a wave of anxiety for me, and articles on google dont exactly help, hence asking here
