Panting Cat
Hey everyone. From the title, my himalayan persian has been panting for more than a month now. Everything is actually normal from eating, drinking, urinating and pooping. My only problem is he's been panting for a while now. Usually after walking around the house or after playing. I'm from the province and aa town namin 2 lang available na vet and isa lang may equipments for labs.
Kaso yung isang vet na yun ay inoover medicate pusa ko and at the same time mali reference range na gamit sa cbc and blood chem.
Pano nag overmedicate, ginamitan niya ng Epo ang pusa ko 1 full dose since bagsak yung platelet niya.
Next, sa 3 cbc na kinonduct, lahat yun pang tao ang gamit na reference range. Nalaman ko to since I sent the lab result sa HS classmate ko na vet around NCR.
Now, he conducted an ultrasound din sa heart ng pusa ko and 36mm daw yung heart wall. (Di po siya cardio) and I think the 36mm is quite impossible plus wala nako tiwala after knowing about the reference range and yung sa Epo.
I can't travel my cat sa city kasi it takes 2 hrs tapos mas malala panting niya dahil sa stress sa byahe.
Anyway, more than a month na po and awang awa nako sa pusa ko. Ubos na din resources ko kakabalik balik sa vet tapos ganun ang result.
Btw, ayaw galawin ng isa pang vet dito samin ang cat ko kasi dun ako sa isang vet nagpa vaccine and all.
Question lang, baka may similar case po dito sainyo sa pusa ko. And any advice po since I feel so helpless na.
