I'm considering training to be a therapist as a career change in my late 20's. I did not do an undergraduate degree so can still get funding for education. What are my options for studying where I could access a student loan for both maintenance and for the course?

As I'm understanding, my options are either the degree route (in counselling/psychotherapy) then potentially a masters. Or a HNC and HND at a college which as i'm understanding could be a quicker route with less student debt and more practical as oppose to academic which would interest me more.

I really appreciate any advice. I'm just starting to look into this and am finding the information out there very confusing. Thank you
