Did your USPS shipping labels suddenly change today?!
Has anyone else noticed Etsy shipping labels suddenly switching to a new USPS APIs format? Today my labels changed mid-day, and now apartment/unit numbers are being formatted above the street address instead of the normal way Etsy/USPS labels typically look. Example attached (mockup for privacy). I contacted Etsy support, and they acknowledged it and said they’re reviewing it with their team. My bigger concern was whether sellers would be financially protected if this turns out to be a system issue that causes delivery problems, and they would not answer that question, only saying to watch for an email update.
We ship 20–30 packages a day, so I’m trying to figure out whether this is just a harmless formatting change that USPS recognizes correctly, or if this is something sellers should actually be concerned about.
Has anyone else seen this today or contacted Etsy about it?
