For context I have lifted weights for 25 years and I’m 5’9 and up to 195lbs at 19% body fat. I have been bulking for 3 months after full recovery from a labrum surgery last year. I intentionally gained about 15 lbs mostly muscle but I’ve added some bodyfat. Historically I’ve gone on a calorie deficit and dieted really strict. My bodybuilder friend said to do .2mg of Reta twice a week to lose water and to slowly drop weight down to 13-14% body fat. I’ve never done a glp so I wanted to see if .2 is a good starting point and what to expect regarding side effects. I want to be hungry enough to eat 200 grams of protein but I also want the weight loss, water weight loss effects. I appreciate any advice that anyone has before I get started.
