Dyshidrotic eczema… or herpetic whitlow 😭 Need help identifying/providing advice

I posted in r/Dyshidrosis and the mods took my post down for undisclosed reasons :( Looking for any help or advise at all.

Looking for advice on identifying this. This is my 4th flare up over the past 2-3 years. These blisters look textbook to the other DE photos I see- deep set, tapioca-like, fluid-filled vesicles. They always show up on the same finger, pretty much the exact same area. They are not itchy at all. They are tender, swollen, and PAINFUL. I can barely bend my finger without pretty decent discomfort.
Another factor that I want to mention is that 1-2 days before the blisters actually appear, I experience a ton of skin sensitivity and nerve pain that radiates down the finger, hand, and wrist. Everything I have read about these symptoms points to herpetic whitlow. Especially the fact that the flare up happens only in the same area- another whitlow red flag.
Idk I am going to try to get an derm appt next week, as my flare ups have lasted around 2ish weeks in the past.
I would really appreciate if anyone could take a look and share their thoughts.
