I took out the arm head so i could take a better look. The neelde turns around its length axis freely and i can not switch between speeds or play any records anymore. The stylus drags across the entire record.

can i glue the needle in its brass holder and speed selector to preven the shifting?

In general the sound quality isnt great which isnt surprising looking at the bare wires haha. And the turntable doesnt always spin, sometimes it just jerks start and stop.
