New algorithm
Like many of you here I'm very disappointed by the new algorithm.
I updated the app a few days ago and since then I'm only being recommended garbage songs that don't have anything to do with my tastes and that I've never listened to. This is so frustrating because all my usual songs are in the "speed dial" section so the algorithm obviously knows what I like but it still only plays random trash that has nothing to do with it.
I told myself I'd cancel my subscription if it's not fixed by the end of the month, which it probably won't be. It's a shame because I use YTM to listen to YouTube videos (live performances, classical music with sheets, tutorials, etc) so I won't be able to listen to that if I get another music app but I'm genuinely so angry to be paying for this nonsense.
The only solution I can think of right now is to download every song I've ever enjoyed on YTM and only play from the downloads section, but I like to discover new music and the old algorithm gave me excellent suggestions. And at this point it's cheaper and less annoying to get an MP3 player or go back to downloading songs on my phone with Amerigo like I did 10 years ago.
