Hello, all.

After about a month of attending services and a “new to/curious about Islam” weekly discussion group at my local mosque, I took my shahada in front of the community last week after accepting Allah into my heart. I’ve felt nothing but absolute acceptance and love so far that I have not felt amongst others in almost as long as I can remember.

I’m a 40 years old American, born and raised in the Protestant Christian church, and I can certainly say there is still a LOT of learning ahead of me on this journey.

I’m just curious to hear if anyone could provide advice or tips on making the process of learning the words recited during prayer easier while I still struggle to learn Arabic.
