So, I currently have a TP-Link Archer C8. 12 years old I think. Even my cable company is complaining about it to me through emails. They aren't even trying to sell me anything, they are just saying, "dude, buy a new router."
So, time to pony up some cash. I have a 1600 SqFt house. Essentially 3 floors with a bonus room. 2 hardcore gamers with PS5, PS4, two Switch 2's, and I occasionally play something like Bloxd. Connection is trash and what I can tell the dump is located in the router. Considered a mesh system like Ubiquiti, but honestly, I am cheap. 12 year old router I am being forced to replace. : )
I have looked at the Archer AX4400. The AX11000. Honestly, though, I quit following internet tech about 10 years ago and am now completely clueless as to what is good and what is crap. What is worth buying and what is not?
