I don't know exactly how old the Pius Dea was when Contispex I took power, but it can't have existed precisely in that form since the Rakata ruled Corusant.

To what extent were the Rakata common knowledge in the Pius Dea period and the centuries before? I know that most Republic technology had its roots in reverse-engineered Rakatan tech, but that doesn't mean everyone knew that. Were they more of a legend by that point? Did the Pius Dea evolve from preceding humanocentric cults and philosophies that took root in the millennia of subjugation and slavery?
