So I'm still learning the native and naturalized plants here, and there are a handful of microclimates in the area. I learn best in person, touching the tree/plant, smelling it, etc. Suggestions on learning? Bike rides with naturalists? Plant walks with herbalists? Hiking with survivalists? I'm down for most things. Groups? Communities? What's available Santa Fe and surrounding areas, up the Jemez would be cool too. TIA 🌿 💚

I have 3 ashford rigid heddle looms, but I wanted to try my hand at some finer cloth. Are there higher dpi heddles that might fit in an ashford? Or maybe a way to make one? I wanted to make some nice, fine, linen handkerchiefs.

Is there a punk show email list or anything? I've heard the Matador and Ghost are venues that sometimes have punk shows (right?) but Ghost hasn't updated their fb page in 4 years(is there a better social media spot for them?), and I'm sure there are yard shows. Help a sister out, I've been in the area over a year, and since I'm up in Los Alamos, I need a little direction, to find shows and community. TIA
